What is a ZTL, and which Italian cities have one?

A zona a traffico limitato is a permission zone, not an emissions zone. There is no national vignette that admits you — access is granted zone by zone by the comune, sometimes for a fee, and cameras at the entrances photograph every plate that crosses.

59 published boundaries across 4 cities in Italy.

451 enforcement cameras are recorded across these cities — the fine is triggered when you cross a gate, not when you park inside.

Milan also publishes 110 pedestrian streets and 82 restricted-access records. They carry no rule beyond their type, so they are shown in context on Milan's own page rather than given pages of their own. A list of 110 street names would not answer anything.

Counts as published on 2 August 2026. Every city links through to its source and licence.
