Sources and licences
Every boundary, camera location and vehicle rule on this site comes from an authority’s own published data. This page lists each one, the licence it is released under, the attribution that licence requires, and the pages that draw on it. It is generated from the data itself, so it cannot drift out of date while the corpus changes.
6 sources behind 338 published boundaries, 451 camera locations and 452 vehicle rules.
Every source is attribution-only. None carries a share-alike obligation, so the combined dataset may be redistributed provided the attribution below travels with it.
Published data
These are the datasets the city pages render. Each links to the publisher’s own page so you can check ours against theirs.

Boundaries we match against but do not publish
These administrative areas are how a rule written for a region or a group of municipalities can be matched to a route at all. No page draws them as a zone and they are not counted among the boundaries above — but their licences require attribution just the same, so they are named here.

Reusing this data
The combined corpus is published under CC BY 4.0 and Licence Ouverte 2.0 (Etalab). Etalab’s Licence Ouverte 2.0 states its own compatibility with CC BY 4.0, and no source carries a share-alike term, so the whole may be reused provided every attribution string above travels with it.
The verdicts, classifications and rule readings on this site are ours, not the authorities’. Where a source is ambiguous we say so on the page rather than resolving it silently — a confident wrong answer about a restricted zone costs a driver a fine.
Data snapshot 2026-08-03. This page is regenerated from the corpus on every build.
